Epilogue A few months passed. During that time, Cynder's eggs were successfully fertilized, laid, and hatched. There was a total of five eggs, all of which developed healthily, and everything was peaceful. Among the newly born dragons, there was one male and four females. The only male, a Dark Dragon like his mother, would be the one who would pass on the legendary genes that, in another nine generations, would spawn a new Purple Dragon, though he would probably never know it. &
